Additional 1.0 Inventory Available for 2.0 Swaps

Hey Everyone,
A couple of quick things.
1. We've been able to consolidate our remaining 1.0 inventory from various fulfillment centers. This means that more inventory is available for 2.0 backers that want to apply their 2.0 pledge to currently available 1.0 inventory. Please contact us to explore this option.
2. We are in contact with the manufacturer but unfortunately are still far down on their production list. We have been digging into other potential options/solutions and expect to have more details in the next several weeks.
We understand this isn't much for backers to go on but wanted to make sure you know that we are aggressively exploring other potential options. We haven't stopped working on this campaign and won't until we get it resolved.

COVID-19, China beginning to come back online

Hey Everyone,
Hope you are all staying safe and healthy.
As some have noted, China manufacturing, in general, is beginning to come back online.
We have had limited communication with our manufacturer during this time but did finally hear a squeak from them the other day. They are getting up and running but with limited operational capacity due to low initial staffing. They expect this to increase over time as more people come back for work now that things in China are calming down. We are trying to get info about where our project may fit within their schedule/priority.
We don't have any idea on a timeline for that info but know they are prioritizing any medical-related orders. From there they will likely focus on their largest clients and so on.
That's all we know for now but will update you as we know more.
We are still here, still working and will continue to do so until this is done.

Hey Everyone,
I'm sure it won't come as a shock but the unfortunate events going on in China related to the Coronovirus are disrupting manufacturing efforts in a major way and not just for us.
We finally were able to get in contact with the factory and they think they will start getting back to some level of production in general in the coming weeks. They were not able to give us a clear answer on what that means for us specifically and how they will be prioritizing everything they have to do so we are waiting on more details there.
This is obviously a fluid situation and we will continue to do what we can to get more info and keep you updated. So sorry for this additional delay and again for the mistakes we made that were contributing factors to the delays.
Thanks for your patience and support and we totally understand and can appreciate the frustration as well (we are right there with you on that).

The Latest: Not much to report.

Hi Everyone,
Unfortunately not much new to report yet. Still waiting on final production proofs from the manufacturer. We were hopeful that we would have received something by now and very disappointed to have to share another non-progress update with you.
Further, with Chinese New Year fast approaching, it is unlikely that we will see progress until after that. For those that aren't aware, factories typically shut down for several weeks and then slowly start to get back to business after that.
If we get any new info we will update you accordingly.

In-person Meeting w US Based Manufacturing Reps

Hey Everyone,
We dropped by the US offices and were able to connect with the local manufacturing reps. To be clear, this is a small team that coordinates the manufacturer's US client needs but isn't any kind of US business or major HQ type of operation.
We had a productive conversation and they profusely apologized for their lack of progress and responsiveness over the past several months. They recommitted to get things moving again and we re-reviewed final production adjustments to each product. They said they would get us final production proofs of each product as soon as possible so that production could get underway, (they wouldn't make any specific time commitments, although we pressed them for such).
We are hopeful that final product proofs will be back to us prior to the end of the year so that production can begin quickly thereafter but again, don't have any definitive time commitment.
They've had some pull back from a few larger clients due to tariff issues so hopefully, that opens their schedules up some for us.
Either way, they seemed sincere in their apologies and recommitted efforts to get this done.
