Final Update
over 3 years ago – Tue, Dec 08, 2020 at 09:03:01 PM

Hey Everyone,

This will be our final update.

After much thought and consideration, we've decided it is time to close the company.

At this point, most of you have received full reimbursement or other compensation related to our 2.0 campaign. If you haven't, please contact us with a direct message or email this week so we can get you taken care of. If you've recently messaged us, we will be responding soon and appreciate your patience.

Thanks again for your support through this fun and interesting journey. We've enjoyed connecting with many of you at various events and gaming shows and we love seeing how much you enjoy our products.

Take care and best wishes for this Holiday Season and the New Year!

Gamefolio System 2.0 Reimbursements (PayPal Info Request)
over 3 years ago – Wed, Oct 21, 2020 at 04:53:06 PM

Hey Everyone,

As we've been processing reimbursements for this project (approximately 200 so far) we've found that working through KS and Backerkit directly is slow and tedious. The reimbursements done through PayPal payments have gone much smoother and quicker. So we've decided to shift our reimbursement efforts to PayPal.

Please follow the link below and fill out the short 2 question Google Form to provide the information we need. (If you've already received your reimbursement via KS, PayPal, a 1.0 swap, etc... no need to fill out the form.)

Gamefolio System 2.0 Reimbursements (PayPal Info Request)

If you do not have PayPal, you can create an account at PayPal.com. If you are not comfortable with using PayPal then please send us a direct message so that we can work something else out.

We are continuing to work through direct messages and emails from many of you. At this point, we are out of 1.0 inventory so there will be no more 1.0 swaps. Thanks to the many of you that asked for this option, we wish we had more 1.0 inventory to take care of everyone that requested this.

How to update your payment info on Kickstarter
over 3 years ago – Sat, Sep 19, 2020 at 12:32:07 AM

Several backers have asked for info on how to update payment info on Kickstarter for refund purposes.

You can update your payment info on Kickstarter by following the info they outline here: https://help.kickstarter.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005048574-How-do-I-add-a-new-credit-card-to-my-account-

If your payment info isn't updated on Kickstarter and we attempt a refund, Kickstarter gives us the following error: "Sorry, your refund could not be processed because the backer's card is not valid. Please message them to make other arrangements." We are keeping track of any backer that this happens with and will attempt refunds through Kickstarter again and if it still isn't working then we will be reaching out to you individually to make refund arrangements.

Also, a reminder that we are first going through and refunding direct Kickstarter pledges and then will make arrangements with everyone for Backerkit and IndieGoGo refunds separately.

We will take care of everyone.

Also, when a Kickstarter refund processes, you will receive an email notification from Kickstarter regarding such.

Please post a comment when you receive your refund so that other backers can see the progress.

We've been working through the remaining 1.0 inventory for swaps and it is nearly gone. There have been more requests for 1.0 swaps than there is inventory to fill them. We will be responding to all of your requests to let you know one way or the other. There are a lot of messages so we appreciate your patience.

Refunds are starting... slowly but surely.
over 3 years ago – Sat, Sep 05, 2020 at 04:46:21 AM

Hey Everyone,

We have begun to work our way through the refund process. It will take some time to get through the various scenarios and situations associated with this process and we appreciate your patience. Rest assured that we will take care of everyone.

If you feel so inclined, please post a comment on the KS campaign when you get your refund so that other backers can see that it is happening.

Here is the general process we are working through:

  • Direct KS Pledges: We are starting with your direct KS pledges first since that is the most straight forward. We are going in order of pledge number and working our way down. Please make sure your KS payment info is up to date to make this easier. KS notifies us if we attempt a refund and the payment info isn't up to date and we will contact you directly to resolve those situations.
  • Backerkit refunds will occur after that as it will require a third-party system like PayPal. We will send out information later regarding this.
  • Anything else: There will likely be various one-off situations that need to be addressed. We will work through them as necessary to get everyone taken care of.
  • IndieGoGo: This is relevant to a few of you and we will reach out to you directly.
  • 1.0 Swaps: Many have requested this option and we are working through the many messages we have received about this to discuss what is possible. Thanks for your patience. For those that have been shipped a 1.0 swap and it has not yet arrived, please let us know and we will get you taken care of.

We've received a lot of messages, emails, comments, etc over the past month about all of this and are working our way through all of that. Thanks for your patience.

Refunds Coming and Closing Out the Project
over 3 years ago – Thu, Aug 13, 2020 at 02:18:08 AM

Hey Everyone,

Manufacturing continues to be an issue and we've now been notified by the manufacturer that the costs have increased and more money is needed to complete the project. As a result of this and all of the other issues with this project, we have decided to close out the project and dig into our own pockets to issue refunds to everyone that did not opt for and receive the 1.0 swap. If you didn't receive your 1.0 swap we will take care of you.

This has been frustrating on all sides and as before, we apologize for the mistakes on our part. Obviously this will sting a bit for us financially but that is ours to bear and we have always been committed to seeing this through and making everyone whole, one way or another.

IMPORTANT: In order for the refund process to go as smoothly as possible, please be sure that your payment information is accurate and up to date on Kickstarter and Backerkit (IndieGoGo as well for those that pledged there.)

We will begin issuing refunds in a few weeks to give everyone some time to make sure their payment information is up to date.

We do have some 1.0 inventory left. So if you are still interested in that, please send us a direct message and we will let you know what is possible.

We will continue to work through any outstanding emails and KS messages as we are able.

Thanks for your patience and thanks to the many of you that continued to offer your support and kind words through this challenging project. Hopefully, we can all breathe a bit easier as this project comes to a close.

- InIt Gear

PS: We understand the frustration, concerns, lack of trust, anger, etc that many have voiced throughout the project... mistakes were made, crazy things happened out of our control, and people have been burned by other notorious KS projects in the past. We are not one of those projects and never were. The personal attacks have been painful and made this struggle all the more challenging, but we get it... no one wants to be taken advantage of, no one wants to be swindled, no one wants their trust broken... feeling those things is hard and emotional and part of being human, as is making mistakes and running into crazy situations that are challenging to navigate. The best we can do is to keep moving forward, make amends, and strive to do better. The world is a crazy place these days, stay safe.
